Professional Dog Advice & Training offers weekly scheduled Basic Training for Adult Dogs and Puppies
If you need more specific training for other, more serious behavioural problems, please contact us to discuss the specific areas you would like to address. We can then conduct a dog behavioural assessment and develop a training plan tailored to you.
Stage 1: Basic Good Behaviour Training Class
There is no need to book these dog training classes in advance. Phone Lee on 07812 089 288 and let him know you are attending.
These classes provide fundamental training to help keep your dog balanced and well-behaved. It includes loose-lead walking, stays, recall, and appropriate socialisation with other dogs.
Please do not bring any dog toys to training. This can make a dog possessive, which can escalate into aggression.
Please do bring high-quality treats and the equipment you usually use to walk your dog (lead, collar, harness). These need to be in good condition.
Adult Good Behaviour Training Class
Each Sunday 9.30 am (1 Hour)
Price £10 per class, per dog.
Puppy Training Class
Each Sunday 10:45 am (1 Hour)
Price £10 per class, per puppy.
There is no fixed period for puppy training; it takes time, patience and consistency, especially in a young dog's life. This is the time you are shaping your playful puppy into a well-behaved dog that can cope with everyday life in the real world, "as the dog becomes what the puppy practices". This is the reason why a 6-week puppy training course does not work
The first time you attend a class, please bring proof of vaccination.
Bring a hungry puppy (don’t feed them anything before attending the class, no breakfast), and bring plenty of treats for lots of food rewards.
Stage 2: Advanced Adult Dog Training Class
Wednesday 6:30 pm (1 Hour)
This class is by invitation only, as your dog must be ready and have successfully mastered basic training.
